The bed has a durable construction built from poplar solids and birch veneers with a gorgeous morning mist finish. The tall headboard features an arching design with beautiful and gentle curves. The headboard has column posts accented with ball finials that add to the classic cottage styling of the platform bed. The footboard has turned feet and lovely curving details that increase the elegance of the bed. The platform bed is secured with 2-piece bolting rails, and the mattress is supported by slat rolls installed at a height of 10 inches from the floor.
